READING GOD’S WORD – DEVOTIONS

Many folks have heard people use the term “devotions.”  I was well into my thirties before I understood what that meant.  Simply put, it means spending time with God.  In the Gospel of Matthew in the New Testament, Chap 6, verse 33 says, “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.”  God’s promises are quite outrageous and we’ll talk more about this.  But suffice it to say, spending time with God is the most sure fire way of getting HOPE and ENCOURAGEMENT that will not fail you.
